The International Solar Cleaning Academy (ISCA) made history on November 14th and 15th, 2024, by hosting the world\u2019s first solar panel cleaning convention at Solar Clean USA\u2019s headquarters in Las Vegas. This pioneering event brought together professionals from across the globe to learn, connect, and celebrate the rapidly evolving solar panel cleaning industry.<\/p>\n

A Packed Two-Day Education and Training Program<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Attendees were treated to an intensive two-day program filled with expert-led sessions.\u00a0 Day one opened with Operations Director of Clean Solar Solutions America<\/a>, Kevin Hargis, introducing Steve Williams, founder of ISCA.\u00a0 Steve opened by speaking on the unexpected but fascinating subject of tribes, highlighting the need for unity, standardization and improvement within the solar panel cleaning industry globally.<\/p>\n

Thereafter followed a series of speakers, each educating the audience on their speciality field.\u00a0 Standout highlights was a presentation from Jan & Diana Klimes from Solar Clean Techs<\/a> about the safe use of rotary brushes when cleaning solar panels on roofs and how to successfully market your business and brand by Kim Verduyckt.<\/p>\n

Throughout the day there were practical demonstrations, and networking opportunities. The agenda covered essential topics such as safety protocols, advanced cleaning techniques, and the latest innovations in solar cleaning equipment.<\/p>\n

Day two featured specialized training led by Steve Williams\u00a0and Mike Draper of Expert Safety Services<\/a>. Their engaging sessions focused on safety essentials, including working at height and live electricity protocols. Adding a dash of humor to the day, Mike Draper surprised attendees by upgrading his wardrobe to match Steve\u2019s signature loud shirts\u2014a stylish twist that went down a storm!<\/p>\n
