Class 1: Certified Solar Panel Cleaning (CSPC)
Time: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Solar basics in plain English: modules, strings, inverters, rapid shutdown, and why arrays are always live

Technical explanations of what a solar array is, how it works, what are the main risks and electrocution points, etc.

PPE & electrical hazard controls for cleaners

Safe cleaning methods: water-fed poles vs. rotary brushes, DI/RO water, flow/pressure limits, winter & high-heat considerations

Preventing damage: coatings, microcracks, junction boxes, connectors, cables, bird damage, and warranty pitfalls

Business essential tips: estimating, scope wording, liability, and client education

Class 2: PV Fire Safety (PVFS)
Time: 2:45 PM – 5:00 PM
Certificate: ISCA PV Fire Safety (PVFS)

How and why PV systems ignite: DC arcing, hotspots, connector faults, shading/soiling effects, wildlife issues

Recognizing red flags during cleaning: discoloration, damaged backsheets, loose conductors, incorrect terminations

On-site controls: approach boundaries, exclusion zones, emergency stop logic, when to cease work

Coordination with owners, O&M, and first responders; reporting and escalation

Case studies: real-world incidents, lessons learned, and prevention checklists
