Travel & expenses:

Training fee includes travel & lodging. Lunch to be provided by venue host. If your company does not have a suitable training venue, we can arrange this at an additional cost.

This course provides safety awareness and operational risk guidance for bird-related solar work. It does not authorize the removal, relocation, destruction or disturbance of protected birds, active nests, eggs or chicks.

Federal, state, tribal and local laws may apply. Where a nest is active, the species is uncertain, or the site presents a fire or electrical concern, contractors should stop work, document conditions, notify the client or site owner, and seek guidance from the appropriate wildlife authority, qualified biologist, licensed wildlife professional, qualified electrical professional or legal counsel.
